Musical Journey

My Story Introduction

Many people assume that becoming a drum teacher starts with a lifelong passion for music.

But that wasn't my story.

I first started learning the drums because I was expected to. I went to lessons, practiced because I had to, and never imagined that drumming would become my career. At that time, it felt more like an obligation than a personal choice.

Everything changed when I began to discover that the drums were more than just an instrument—they became a way to express myself.

Each new skill I mastered, every groove that finally clicked, and every moment I connected with music made me realize something important: this was no longer something I had to do. It had become something I truly loved.

Curiosity turned into passion.

And passion became my life's direction.

Since then, I've dedicated myself to studying drumming, exploring different musical styles, learning from great drummers around the world, and constantly asking myself how I can become a better musician—and, more importantly, a better teacher.

Today, I've spent nearly two decades teaching students of all ages and backgrounds.

Some of them walk into my studio because their parents encourage them to learn. Others come with big dreams, while many simply want to enjoy making music after a long day.

Because I once experienced the journey from being reluctant to becoming passionate, I understand what many beginners are feeling. I believe great teaching isn't about forcing everyone to follow the same path—it's about helping each student discover their own rhythm and develop a genuine love for music.

To me, drumming is much more than playing an instrument.

It has taught me patience, discipline, creativity, and perseverance. More importantly, it helped me discover a passion that continues to shape my life.

My goal is simple:

To help every student find the joy, confidence, and passion that music has given me.
